Ingredients
Wet ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Cinnamon sugar mix:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cups nut optional, crushed
Glaze
- caramel sauce homemade
- cream cheese icing
Notes
- Chopped nuts are optional, but they add a nice crunch to the cinnamon streusel mix. I recommend pecans, almonds or walnuts!
