Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 cups white sugar granulated
  • 4 tablespoons cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Whisk together the cinnamon and sugar.
  2. Store in an airtight container.

Notes

  •  Cassia cinnamon and Ceylon cinnamon are the two main types of cinnamon you can buy.  Cassia is more common and comes in a few different varieties.  Ceylon cinnamon is harder to find but has a more delicate flavor and is sometimes called ‘true’ cinnamon.  Both types have different flavor profiles, so feel free to experiment and see which you prefer!
  • This cinnamon sugar recipe can last for a long time if stored properly. I like to keep mine in an airtight container or mason jar in a cool, dry place.
  • It's best to use it within 12 months before the spice loses its potency, but this cinnamon and sugar ratio can last way longer!
