Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels

Cinnamon Sugar Pretzels are mini pretzel twists coated evenly with a cinnamon and sugar mixture, baked to a crisp finish, and drizzled with melted white chocolate for a sweet and crunchy treat. The combination of warm cinnamon sugar and creamy white chocolate creates a balanced snack with both texture and flavor contrast.

Description

This snack begins by whisking vegetable oil (or melted butter) with cinnamon powder and sugar to form a coating mixture. Mini pretzel twists are tossed in this mixture until well coated, then spread in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking tray. They bake uncovered at 300°F for 20 to 25 minutes, with stirring halfway through to ensure even baking and prevent burning.

Once cooled, white chocolate melts combined with coconut oil are drizzled on top, forming a glossy sweet layer that complements the crunchy, cinnamon-spiced pretzels. The finished product offers a satisfying sweet and salty combination with a gentle warmth from the cinnamon.

These pretzels make a convenient snack or dessert component, and can be stored in an airtight container to maintain crispness.

Take care to coat pretzels evenly before baking and avoid increasing oven temperature to prevent burning. Stirring during baking is important for even texture and flavor distribution.

  • Use ¼ teaspoon coconut oil when melting white chocolate to achieve a smooth and shiny drizzle.
  • Line the baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
  • Remove the baking tray twice during baking to stir the pretzels, promoting even crisping and preventing burning.
  • Avoid increasing oven temperature to speed up baking to prevent burnt pretzels.
  • Store in an airtight container after cooling to keep pretzels crisp.
