Ingredients
- 6 hot dogs
- 45 ounces Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Instructions
- Cut hot dogs into bite-size slices.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add hot dogs. Cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly browned. Note: This step is optional but I highly recommend it to add extra flavor. If you are in a hurry you can add the hot dog slices straight to the bean mixture.
- In a large skillet or pot add the Pork and Beans in Tomato Sauce, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, yellow mustard, and onion powder. Stir together and add the sliced hot dogs.
- Set heat to medium high and bring to a boil, then to heat to medium low, cover the pot, and cook for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot.
