Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F and line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper. Set aside.
- In a small mixing bowl, add all garlic butter ingredients (butter, olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, parsley, salt and pepper) and stir to combine well.
- Slice loaf of bread in half lengthwise (so you end up with 2 halves of bread that are as long as the whole loaf was) and add to prepared baking sheet.
- Generously spread butter mixture over the cut sides of the bread, and top with Parmesan cheese (if using).
- Bake for 10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy enough for your tastes. Slice into how ever many pieces you'd like.
Notes
- Slice bread in half so you have two long pieces of bread.
- Serving size assumes you have 16 total slices of bread, but you're welcome to slice the bread into as many slices as you want.
- Slice bread in half so you have two long pieces of bread.
- Spread garlic butter mixture on each slice of the bread and sprinkle tops with Parmesan cheese.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet and freeze for 1 hour, until frozen solid. Then remove from baking sheet, wrap individually with plastic wrap and/or foil. Add to resealable freezer bag and freeze for up to 3 months.
- To bake: remove from plastic wrap and foil, place on baking sheet and bake in a preheated 350 F degree oven for about 20 minutes, or until heated through.
- Move baking sheet about 6-8" away from the broiler and broil for 1-2 minutes, until cheese is bubbly, watching closely so the cheese doesn't burn.
