Classic Kotleti (Meatballs)
Description
Classic Kotleti use ground chicken combined with milk-soaked bread to create a soft mixture that holds together well when cooked. Eggs and mayonnaise enrich the mixture, while grated onion adds flavor and moisture. Seasoned with salt and pepper, the meatballs are shaped and fried in neutral oil over medium heat, ensuring a crisp crust and fully cooked center.
The texture is soft and juicy due to the bread and milk combination, and the frying method provides a pleasant contrast between the crust and interior. This dish works well served with potatoes, salads, or as part of a larger meal.
