Ingredients
- 1 fudge brownie mix I used Duncan Hines, box
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup Coca-Cola
- cup buttermilk scant ½ (unit unspecified
- Coca Cola Chocolate Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Coca-Cola
- cup cocoa powder ¼ (unit unspecified
- cup light corn syrup ¼ (unit unspecified
- cup semi-sweet chocolate chips ⅓ (unit unspecified
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13" baking pan and set aside.
- To the bowl of a stand mixer, add the brownie mix, vegetable oil, egg, coca cola and buttermilk. Using the paddle attachment, beat until thoroughly combined.
- Pour batter into prepared baking pan and bake for 25 minutes, or until set and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
- Cool brownies on a cooling rack, in the pan, completely.
- Coca Cola Chocolate Sauce:
- Combine coca cola, cocoa powder and corn syrup in a small saucepan. Over medium heat, whisk and bring to a slight boil. Once it boils, reduce heat and simmer on low for 3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips.
Notes
- ** Can also be done using a hand mixer, or even by hand with a whisk.** Serve brownies by themselves, drizzled with chocolate sauce, or combined with ice cream to make a sundae.
