Coconut Custard Pie

Coconut Custard Pie blends a smooth custard base with the chewy texture of coconut flakes, creating a balanced dessert with subtle vanilla notes. The filling is a mix of milk, eggs, Bisquick, and sugar, incorporating coconut flakes both inside and sprinkled on top before baking to add texture and flavor. It bakes into a creamy, slightly firm custard with a gently toasted coconut topping. This pie can be served as a sweet finish to meals, offering a tropical twist on traditional custard pies.

Description

The Coconut Custard Pie combines milk, eggs, Bisquick, sugar, and vanilla extract as a custard base, with unsweetened coconut flakes folded in to add texture. The custard mixture is blended until smooth and poured into a greased pie dish. After resting briefly, additional coconut flakes are sprinkled on top for a toasted coconut finish during baking. Baking at 350 degrees F for 40 minutes sets the custard to a creamy yet slightly firm consistency, balancing the softness of the custard with the coconut’s chewiness.

This pie serves well as a dessert featuring the delicate flavor of vanilla and coconut. It offers variety for those seeking a custard with added texture. Serve slices slightly warm or chilled, depending on preference.
