Ingredients
- 6 croissants
- 24 count Chocolate Chip Cookie dough
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice your croissants in half, but don't slice all the way through.
- Place 2 pieces of cookie dough inside each croissant.
- Top the middle of each croissant with another piece of cookie dough.
- Break apart the remaining cookie dough and place it on the ends of the croissants.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cookie dough on top is just golden.
Notes
- While chocolate chip cookie dough is always a winner, you can experiment with other flavors.
- Keep a close eye on your croissants while they're in the oven. You want the cookie dough to be gooey and the croissants to be golden brown, but don't overbake.
- These cookie dough croissants are best served fresh from the oven while the dough is still warm and melty.
- This recipe uses store-bought cookie dough, typically made with pasteurized eggs and heat-treated flour. This makes it safe to eat without being fully baked. However, if you're using homemade cookie dough, make sure to use pasteurized eggs and heat-treat your flour to ensure food safety.
