Ingredients

Servings
  • 6 Oreo cookies original or double stuffed
  • 3 pieces Chocolate Chip Cookie dough Pillsbury Big Deluxe brand
  • 1 cup chocolate chip cookie semi-sweet, mini
  • 1 teaspoons coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons Rainbow sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare a small cookie sheet by lining with parchment paper.
  2. Gently twist 6 of the Oreos apart.
  3. Cut each piece of the cookie dough in half so that you have 6 total pieces.
  4. Sandwich one piece of the cookie dough in between the two halves of each Oreo.
  5. In a microwave safe dish, melt together the semisweet chocolate chips and the coconut oil.
  6. Once melted and smooth, use a fork to carefully dunk each of the sandwiches into the chocolate.
  7. Gently tap the bottom of the fork holding the dipped cookie against the edge of the bowl to help the
  8. excess chocolate drip off, then place the cookie onto the prepared parchment lined cookie sheet.
  9. Sprinkle the tops of the dunked sandwiches with rainbow sprinkles. Let harden before serving.

Notes

  • Set them in the fridge: If you are not going to enjoy the stuffed Oreos right after you make them, place them in the refrigerator to keep the chocolate from melting.
  • Let them sit out before eating: After being in the refrigerator, the chocolate coating can be a little bit hard. Allow the cookies to sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes to make them easier to eat.
  • Try a double boiler: This is another great method to melt the chocolate chips if you do not own or want to use a microwave.
