Description
This frozen yogurt combines plain whole milk yogurt and full-fat cream cheese to achieve a creamy base with some richness. Sweetening with honey and adding vanilla extract creates a mild, balanced flavor. The mixture is processed in a food processor until smooth to eliminate lumps and ensure even texture.
Half of the crushed Oreo cookies are pulsed into the creamy base to distribute small cookie pieces evenly. The remaining crushed cookies are folded in to add larger bits, providing varied texture in each bite. After transferring to a freezer-safe container, the mixture is frozen for at least six hours, preferably overnight, allowing it to solidify while maintaining a scoopable consistency.
The result is a dessert combining the familiar cookies and cream flavor with the tang and lightness of frozen yogurt. It stores well in the freezer for up to two weeks when kept airtight.
