Cookies and Cream Milkshake
Description
This milkshake blends vanilla ice cream and whole milk until smooth, then mixes in crushed Oreos briefly to retain small cookie bits within the creamy base. Chilling the serving glasses beforehand helps keep the shake cold longer. The shake is poured into these chilled glasses and finished with a topping of whipped cream and more crushed Oreos for texture and visual appeal.
The resulting drink offers a classic cookies and cream flavor profile. The texture balances smoothness from the dairy ingredients with crunchy cookie pieces. The use of real Oreos adds recognizable chocolate and cream notes, appealing to those who enjoy sweet, dessert-style beverages.
Serving the shake immediately ensures the ice cream's thickness and the cream topping remain fresh. The freezer step for glasses is a simple tip to maintain ideal serving temperature. This milkshake works well as a dessert drink or a treat for warm weather.
