Cookies and Cream Popcorn Recipe

Cookies and Cream Popcorn is a delicious sweet and salty treat of popcorn coated in white chocolate and Oreos.

Ingredients

  • 1 bag microwave popcorn 100 calorie, I used Jolly Time, or any white popcorn of choice
  • 12 Oreos reduced fat, crushed roughly
  • 6 oz white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Pop bag of popcorn according to package instructions, making sure not to burn it.
  2. Remove any kernels that did not pop.
  3. Place Oreos in a large Ziploc bag and crush, but leave semi chunky.
  4. Mix the popcorn and crushed Oreos together.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30 second intervals, mixing in between intervals until smooth.
  6. Drizzle half of the melted chocolate over the popcorn and using a rubber spatula, coat evenly.
  7. Add the rest of the chocolate and toss mixture gently until it is all mixed together.
  8. Spread mixture onto a large sheet of wax paper and place on a cookie sheet and allow coating to set completely. Eat and Enjoy!
  9. Store any left overs in an airtight container.
