Description

This recipe combines half and half, milk, vanilla, and dry instant pudding mix to create a creamy base.   • 1 ¼ cups half and half
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 tablespoons Instant pudding mix dry, cookies n' cream flavor
  • 8 chocolate sandwich cookies aka: Oreos, roughly chopped
  • 1 ½ cups chocolate chips optional, semi-sweet
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil optional, or canola oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl add half and half, milk, vanilla, and pudding mix. Whisk until combined. Stir in chopped oreos. Pour mix into popsicle molds and freeze for 2 hours or overnight. 
  2. When ready to eat, run the plastic popsicle molds under hot water for 20 seconds to loosen the pops, then squeeze the bottoms and slide the popsicles out.

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and oil and give it a stir.
  2. Microwave on high for 45 seconds. Stir, and return to microwave for 20 seconds at a time, stirring after each, until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Dip frozen popsicles in the melted chocolate and immediately lay on a parchment or foil-lined tray.
  4. Transfer to freezer or fridge for a few minutes to harden the chocolate coating.

Notes

  • For a variation, try using Golden Oreos instead of chocolate sandwich cookies.
