Description
This recipe combines an assortment of dried herbs including oregano, basil, parsley, and rosemary with crushed red pepper flakes and freshly cracked black pepper. Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes crushed
- 1 tablespoon black pepper freshly cracked
- 1 tablespoon oregano dried
- 1 tablespoon basil dried
- 1 tablespoon parsley dried
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoons rosemary dried
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt coarse
- 3 cloves garlic freshly crushed or minced, fresh
- extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Combine the 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes, 1 tablespoon freshly cracked black pepper, 1 tablespoon dried oregano, 1 tablespoon dried basil, 1 tablespoon dried parsley, 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder, 1 1/2 teaspoons onion powder, 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary , 1 1/2 teaspoons coarse sea salt and 3 cloves fresh garlic, grated. Mix well.
- If serving immediately, measure out about 1 tablespoons of the spice mixture into a shallow plate or bowl. Add 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil. Save the rest in an airtight container for another day!
