Copycat Panda Express String Bean Chicken
Description
This Copycat Panda Express String Bean Chicken recipe starts by coating bite-sized chicken breast pieces in cornstarch, then pan-searing them until fully cooked with a light brown crust. Separately, green beans and sliced green onions are stir-fried in sesame oil until just tender, preserving their freshness and slight crunch.
A sauce combining chicken broth, soy sauce, seasoned rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and thickened with cornstarch is prepared by heating until bubbling and thick. The cooked chicken and vegetables are combined and coated with this glossy sauce which balances savory and tangy flavors.
Serve this dish hot over steamed rice for a meal that offers tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and a flavorful sauce reminiscent of the popular restaurant version.
