Crab Rangoon Dip

Crab Rangoon Dip combines imitation crab meat with cream cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, and a blend of spicy and savory sauces like sriracha and soy sauce. The mixture includes multiple cheeses and scallions, baked until bubbly and golden. Served with crispy baked wonton triangle chips and sweet chili sauce, it offers creamy, tangy, and slightly spicy flavors reminiscent of the classic crab rangoon appetizer.

Description

The "Crab Rangoon Dip" recipe features shredded imitation crab meat mixed with a creamy base of room-temperature cream cheese, mayonnaise, and sour cream. This base is flavored with sriracha for heat, soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for umami, garlic powder, and chopped green onions which add freshness. A combination of shredded mozzarella, white cheddar, and Parmesan cheeses are folded in to create a rich, layered texture.

The dip is spread evenly in a baking dish and baked at medium-high heat until it becomes bubbly with golden edges, creating a hot and creamy consistency that melds the seafood, cheese, and savory seasonings. Alongside, wonton wrappers are cut into triangles, sprayed with cooking oil, and baked until crisp to provide a crunchy dipping vessel.

Finishing the dip with a brush of sweet chili sauce and a garnish of scallions adds a sweet-spicy accent and visual appeal. This combination captures the essence of crab rangoon filling in an easier-to-share dip format, suitable for appetizers or gatherings.
