Cranberry Fluff Salad

Cranberry Fluff Salad mixes chopped fresh cranberries that have been sugared and chilled with drained crushed pineapple, halved seedless grapes, chopped pecans, marshmallows, and Cool Whip. The cranberries provide a tart base softened by chilling, while pineapple and grapes add sweetness and juiciness. Chopped nuts contribute crunch, and marshmallows bring a light, sweet chewiness. Cool Whip creates a creamy texture binding the ingredients together. This no-bake salad is chilled before serving, offering a refreshing and textured dish often enjoyed as a dessert or side dish during holidays or gatherings.

Description

This salad starts by pulsing fresh cranberries to finely chop them, then sprinkling with sugar and refrigerating several hours or overnight to soften and mellow the tartness. The softened cranberries are combined in a large bowl with drained crushed pineapple, halved red seedless grapes, chopped pecans for texture, and marshmallows for sweetness and chew. Cool Whip is folded in gently to blend the salad without crushing the fruits or nuts. The salad is then refrigerated until serving, allowing flavors to blend and the texture to settle. It is a chilled dish characterized by moist fruit, crunchy nuts, fluffy marshmallows, and smooth whipped topping executing a balance of tart, sweet, and creamy contrasts.
