Cranberry Pistachio Cereal Bars

Cranberry Pistachio Cereal Bars combine crunchy oatmeal cereal squares with dried cranberries and pistachios, all held together by a warm mixture of butter, brown sugar, and honey. The bars set firmly after chilling in the freezer, making them easy to cut and handle. They offer a chewy, nutty texture alongside the natural tartness of cranberries, making these bars a convenient snack or breakfast option when you need something on the go.

Description

Cranberry Pistachio Cereal Bars feature Quaker Oatmeal Squares cereal crushed just enough to retain some crunchiness, mixed with dried cranberries and chopped pistachios for added texture and flavor contrast. The sticky syrup made from butter, brown sugar, and honey binds the ingredients together. Pressing the mixture firmly in a dish and chilling it in the freezer helps it solidify quickly and evenly. Once set, the bars cut into portions that hold their shape without being overly hard, balancing chewiness and crunch.

The bars provide a nutty and fruity bite with natural sweetness from the honey and brown sugar syrup. They do not require baking, speeding up preparation time. These bars can be a handy grab-and-go snack or a sweet, satisfying addition to breakfast or lunch boxes. No additional cooking or reheating is needed before serving.
