These cream cheese cookies are simple and oh so easy to make.

Ingredients
- 1 cup shortening
- 3 ounces cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg egg yolk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 1/2 cup flour
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Cream shortening in bowl. Work in cream cheese and sugar, keeping smooth. Beat in egg yolks, vanilla and flour. Dough can be dropped, cookie pressed or chilled firm. Roll and cut. Bake 15 minutes.
