Cream of Mushroom Pork Chops

Cream of Mushroom Pork Chops feature thin boneless pork chops baked in a creamy mixture of mushroom soup, sour cream, and Italian dressing seasoning. Topped with grated Parmesan and briefly broiled, the pork chops develop a browned, flavorful crust with a tender and creamy texture beneath.

Description

This recipe for Cream of Mushroom Pork Chops uses thin, boneless pork chops seasoned simply with salt and pepper. They are placed in a baking dish and covered with a sauce combining canned cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and Italian dressing mix, which creates a rich and tangy coating that keeps the pork moist during baking.

As the dish bakes at 400˚F, the pork cooks through while absorbing the creamy sauce. Sprinkling Parmesan cheese on top and finishing under the broiler adds a golden, slightly crisp layer. The final dish balances the savory mushroom flavor with the slight tanginess from the sour cream and dressing mix, resulting in tender, flavorful pork chops covered in a creamy, cheesy topping.

These pork chops work well served over rice or with steamed vegetables to soak up the sauce. They can be enjoyed for an easy dinner featuring comfort food textures and flavors.
