250 gms mushrooms sliced (I use 170 gms - 6 oz. of button mushrooms and 80 gms - 3 oz. of frozen porcini mushrooms, 9 oz
2 tbsp onion chopped
2 garlic chopped, cloves
30 gms butter 2 tbsp
3 tbsp flour
500 ml chicken stock or vegetable stock, 2 cups
250 ml cream 1 cup
¼ tsp nutmeg grated
½ tsp salt to taste
½ tsp black pepper to taste
parsley optional
