Creamy Baked Ricotta Dip

This Creamy Baked Ricotta Dip features ricotta cheese blended with garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and fresh rosemary, topped with mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses, then baked until golden and bubbly. It's smooth, tangy, and rich with a melty cheese crust. Served warm with toasted baguette slices, it makes a savory appetizer or snack highlighting the fresh herb and citrus flavors.

Description

The dip combines ricotta cheese with minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, and half of the rosemary to form a creamy base seasoned with salt and pepper. Mozzarella and Parmesan are sprinkled on top before baking at 400°F, then broiled briefly to brown the cheese.

This method creates a contrast between the soft, creamy interior and the golden, slightly crisp top. The lemon juice adds brightness while the rosemary provides a fragrant herbal note. The accompanying toasted baguette offers a crunch to complement the dip's smooth texture.

Serve the dip warm as a flavorful starter or shareable snack. It pairs well with fresh bread, crackers, or vegetable crudités, capturing a balance of mild cheeses and fresh seasonings without overpowering richness.
