Ingredients
- 3 medium Russet potatoes
- 1 1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Peel and wash the potatoes.
- Cut the potatoes into French fries by cutting long thick strips.
- Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove the starch (this will help them crisp up better).
- Preheat the air fryer by cooking empty for 2 minutes at 400 degrees. Remove fries from water and pat dry with a paper towel.
- Toss fries in a large ziploc bag with oil and paprika.
- Add fries to air fryer, leave a little space beween each fry and alternate driection of fries for each layer to allow maximum air flow.
- Cook at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Shake the basket at 10 and 15 minutes into the cooking process. Be sure to shake it hard enough that any fries sticking come loose. Salt to taste when cooking is complete.

Notes
- Fries don't make great leftovers, so you'd better eat 'em while they're hot!!
