Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 4 cloves garlic pressed
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can Kidney Beans
  • 1 can pinto beans
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce

For the Chili Seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon basil dried
  • 1 teaspoon oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon parsley dried
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

Instructions

  1. Mix all spices for chili seasoning together.
  2. Brown the ground beef using a spatula to break up the meat as you cook. Drain all fat and excess liquid from the meat.
  3. To the crock pot, add browned beef, all other ingredients, and chili seasoning and mix to combine. (Add beans with liquid, no need to drain)
  4. Cook on low for 3-8 hours. Serve hot with your choice of toppings!

  • Makes 10 cups.
