Ingredients

  • 6 cups peach sliced, fresh
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter chilled and cubed, unsalted
  • 3/4 cup milk whole

Instructions

  1. Grease the inside of the Crock-Pot with butter or non-stick cooking spray.
  2. In a bowl, toss the sliced peaches with the granulated sugar and vanilla extract, then transfer to the Crock-Pot.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse breadcrumbs.
  4. Gradually add the milk to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined to form a thick batter.
  5. Dollop the batter over the peaches in the Crock-Pot, spreading gently to cover.
  6. Cover the Crock-Pot with a lid and cook on high for 4 hours, or until the topping is cooked through and the peaches are bubbling.
  7. Serve the peach cobbler warm, optionally with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
