Crock Pot Taco Pasta

Report
Crock Pot Taco Pasta combines ground beef cooked with diced onion, green pepper, garlic, and taco seasoning in a slow cooker alongside tomato sauce, salsa, milk, broth, and elbow macaroni. Slow cooking melds savory and spicy flavors while the pasta softens in the sauce. Cheddar cheese stirred in at the end melts into a creamy completion, resulting in a hearty, comforting one-pot meal.

Description

The recipe starts by browning ground beef on the stovetop with diced onion, then transferring it to a slow cooker with green bell pepper, minced garlic, taco seasoning, tomato sauce, salsa, milk, and beef broth. The mixture cooks on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours, allowing flavors to develop fully.

Near the end, uncooked elbow macaroni is stirred in and cooked for an additional 15 minutes; during this time, the pasta absorbs liquid and softens. Finally, shredded cheddar cheese is folded into the warm mixture until melted, creating a creamy, cheesy sauce coating the pasta and seasoned beef.

This dish can be served immediately, optionally topped with sour cream, diced tomatoes, or chives for added freshness and creaminess. It makes a satisfying main course with bold taco-inspired flavors combined with comforting pasta.
