Description
The Crock pot White Hot Chocolate combines white chocolate chips with whole milk and heavy whipping cream, slowly heated in the crock pot to melt and blend the ingredients evenly. Vanilla extract balances the sweetness and adds depth. Stirring periodically prevents scorching and ensures a smooth consistency. The resulting hot chocolate has a rich, creamy texture and a mellow white chocolate flavor. It’s ideal for serving as a warm, indulgent drink during chilly weather or festive gatherings.
To serve, pour the hot chocolate into mugs and top with mini marshmallows or whipped cream for extra richness. A peppermint candy cane can also be added for a hint of mint and decorative touch, making it suitable for holiday occasions or cozy nights.
The slow cooking method allows the white chocolate to melt gently, preventing separation while creating a luscious, thickened drink. Stirring every 30 minutes and occasionally thereafter helps maintain an even temperature distribution, ensuring no burnt spots develop. Ingredients
- 2 cups milk whole
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips I used Ghirardelli
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add in Chocolate chips first in the crock pot and then poor in the rest of the ingredients.
- Stir and then cook on high for 1 hour and 30 minutes (*stir after the first 30 minutes and then stir everyonce in a while.).
- Serve with mini marshmallows and whip cream. Adding a peppermint candy cane is delicious too!

- Stir periodically during cooking to prevent the white chocolate from sticking or burning at the bottom.
- Serve immediately with marshmallows or whipped cream to enjoy the creamy texture at its best.
