Crockpot Candy

Crockpot Candy is a mixture of chocolate varieties and mixed nuts melted slowly in a slow cooker, then dropped by spoonfuls and topped with sprinkles before hardening. This candy has a combination of smooth chocolate texture and crunchy nuts with colorful sprinkles adding a festive touch. It’s a straightforward candy making method using a crockpot for easy melting and mixing.

Description

This recipe combines chocolate almond bark, white and semi-sweet chocolate chips, and mixed nuts melted together in a crockpot. The slow, low heat helps the chocolates melt evenly without scorching. Once fully melted and mixed well with butter and nuts, the mixture is dolloped onto parchment to cool and set. Sprinkles add a decorative finish and a slight crunchy contrast. The result is individual clusters of rich, varied chocolate with nutty bits throughout. This candy requires minimal stirring and hands-on time, relying on slow cooking for melting.

The candy can be served as bite-sized treats for gatherings or gift-giving. It’s convenient to prepare in advance and store at room temperature. Variations in nut choice or sprinkle styles can customize the candy. Letting the candy sit for an hour ensures it hardens to a firm consistency for easy handling and serving.
