Crockpot Candy

This easy crockpot candy recipe is a simple treat that is a perfect addition to your holiday cookie trays. Made with almond bark and a delicious mix of salty and sweet ingredients, these sweet treat is always a hit.

  • 2 pounds White Almond Bark
  • 2 cups dry roasted salted peanuts
  • 1 ½ cups mini pretzels roughly chopped
  • 1 cup caramel bits
  • 1 ½ cups mini marshmallows
  • Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a slow cooker, place the almond bark, peanuts and chopped pretzels.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 1 hour. Do not stir.
  3. Once the almond bark has melted completely, turn off the crockpot and stir the mixture to coat the nuts and pretzels completely.
  4. Add the marshmallows and caramel bits and stir until the marshmallows have melted.
  5. Line baking sheets with parchment paper and scoop 2 tablespoons of the mixture onto the parchment paper.
  6. Immediately add sprinkles if using.
  7. Let the candy set for at least an hour until completely cooled (you can also place them in the refrigerator to to set quicker.

Notes

  • Use chocolate almond bark if you prefer.Add in a 12 ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips instead of caramel chips.
  • Use any favorite nuts like honey roasted, cashews , pecans or walnuts are amazing in this!
  • Swap the pretzels for Rice Krispies, Cheerios or Chex Mix cereal.
  • Leave out the pretzels all together and double the peanuts.
  • Use salted or unsalted peanuts or even honey roasted.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
