Crockpot Christmas Crack

Crockpot Christmas Crack is a layered nut and chocolate candy made by slowly melting a combination of peanuts, cashews, semi-sweet and white chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips together in a slow cooker. The mixture is stirred and dropped into clusters before being decorated with holiday-themed toppings. It sets into a sweet, crunchy, and creamy treat ideal for festive occasions.

Description

This candy recipe involves layering nuts and various chips in a crockpot set on low heat to melt the chocolates evenly without stirring for one hour. After stirring, the melted mixture is portioned into small clusters onto parchment paper. Decorative toppings such as holiday sprinkles, flake sea salt, or crushed candy canes are applied to different clusters to add festive variety and texture contrast.

The final candy blends salty nuts with smooth melted chocolates and peanut butter chips, creating a sweet and crunchy candy that hardens as it sets at room temperature or in the refrigerator. Its composition makes it easy to serve in bite-sized treats during holidays.

Because crockpot temperatures vary, checking the candy at one hour and adjusting cooking time is advised to ensure full smooth melting. Refrigeration sets the candy faster and helps the chocolate firm thoroughly. The candy stores well in an airtight container refrigerated for up to two months or at room temperature if kept cool.
