Description
This recipe starts by combining diced boneless chicken breasts with bottled Italian dressing, minced garlic, black pepper, and shredded parmesan cheese in a crockpot. The ingredients slow cook for several hours allowing the chicken to become tender and infuse the sauce with herb and cheese flavors.
In the final 30 minutes, cream cheese is added and stirred in to melt, thickening the sauce and adding richness. Separately, penne pasta is cooked according to package instructions. Just before serving, the cooked pasta is stirred into the crockpot mixture so the pasta absorbs the flavors and is coated in the creamy sauce.

Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast Diced, boneless skinless
- 16 oz. Italian dressing Olive Garden brand
- 1 Tablespoon garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 Cup Parmesan Cheese shredded
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 16 oz. penne pasta
Instructions
- Place the chicken, dressing, garlic, pepper and parmesan cheese in the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low 5-6 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
- For the last 30 minutes of the cooking time, dice up the cream cheese and stir it into the crock pot. Cover and allow the cheese to melt.
- Prepare the pasta based on the package container in a separate pan.
- Stir the pasta into the crock pot right before serving and enjoy!
