Crockpot Peanut Clusters

Report
Crockpot Peanut Clusters combine almond bark, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and salted dry roasted peanuts melted slowly together in a slow cooker. Stirring during cooking ensures even melting and prevents burning of the chocolate base. The mixture is then dropped onto parchment and chilled until set, creating bite-sized chocolate-covered peanut treats that balance sweetness with salty crunch.

Description

This recipe uses a low and slow melting process in a crockpot, layering almond bark, chocolate chips, and peanuts to create rich, chocolate peanut clusters. Carefully stirring every 15 to 20 minutes prevents burning at the bottom and blends the ingredients into a smooth, glossy mixture.

Scooping the melted mixture onto parchment paper allows it to cool and solidify into individual clusters that can be easily handled and served. These clusters offer a crunchy texture from the dry roasted peanuts enrobed in a creamy chocolate coating created by the combined almond bark and semi-sweet chips.

The finished clusters are ideal as sweet snacks or gifts, and storing them in an airtight container in the refrigerator helps keep the chocolate firm and fresh longer.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 lbs. almond bark white
  • 12 oz. chocolate chips semi-sweet
  • 32 oz. peanut salted dry roasted

Instructions

  1. Place the almond bark in the crock pot. Top with the chocolate chips and the peanuts. Cook on low for 1 hour.
  2. Stir every 15-20 minutes to ensure that chocolate does not burn on the bottom of the crock pot.
  3. Once all ingredients are melted, stir thoroughly to combine.
  4. Use a spoon or a cookie scoop to scoop clusters onto a cookie sheet lined with wax paper or parchment paper.  Put in the refrigerator or all them to sit at room temperature until the chocolate has completely set (usually 1-2 hours).
  5. Store the clusters in an airtight container or ziplock bag in the refrigerator.  Enjoy!
