													Curried green peas - a vibrant dish with a slightly sweet flavor and a comforting blend of warming spices, making them versatile and delicious.

                                Ingredients
- 300 g green peas (2.5 cups)
 - 2 onions
 - 4-5 garlic
 - 1 inch ginger
 - 2 tomatoes
 - 2-3 Chilies
 - 1 teaspoon salt
 - 1 teaspoon red chilli powder
 - ½ teaspoon Turmeric
 - 1 teaspoon garam masala
 - 3-4 black peppercorns
 - 1 bay leaf
 - 2 black cardamoms
 - 1 cinnamon
 - ½ teaspoon cumin seeds
 - 2 tablespoon oil
 - 1 tablespoon ghee (optional)
 
Instructions
- Finely dice the onions, garlic ginger, tomatoes, and chilles.
 - Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Turn them slightly aromatic.
 - Stir in garlic and fry for a few seconds. Add onions and saute until translucent.
 - Next goes in ginger and all the spices. Cook for 2-3 minutes on low heat.
 - Stir in tomato and chilies. Cook until the curry base is ready.
 - Add the peas and mix well. Cook for 2-3 minutes to coat them with the masala. Then, add water and bring it to a boil. Cover with a lid and let it simmer for 5-8 minutes on low heat.
 - When the green peas are cooked, add a tablespoon of ghee. It is completely optional.
 - Serve the hot green peas curry with your favorite food!
 
Notes
- Keep peas tender and vibrant by simmering them for just the right amount of time.
 - Don't skip the spices, as they balance out the sweetness of the peas.
