Curried Sausages

Curried Sausages bring together browned sausages cooked with a spiced onion curry gravy enriched with flour and broth. Carrots, peas, and corn add texture and mild sweetness, making a hearty, savory dish simmered until thick and flavorful. The curry powder imparts warm, aromatic notes to the sauce while vegetables soften in the gravy.

Description

This recipe for Curried Sausages features sausages browned and sliced before being combined with a flavorful curry gravy made by cooking onions with curry powder and flour, then gradually adding broth. The gravy thickens as it simmers with carrots, peas, and corn, complementing the sausage slices and creating a balanced mix of textures and flavors.

The curry powder provides a warm spiciness, while the vegetables bring subtle sweetness and freshness. The cooking process allows the sausages to absorb some of the sauce, enhancing their taste and keeping them moist.

Curried Sausages make a filling meal suited for casual dinners and pair well with rice or bread to soak up the rich curry sauce.

Adjust the choice of sausage and curry powder blend to vary flavor, and vegetable broth can also be substituted with chicken or beef broth depending on preference.
