Date Bark

Date Bark combines pitted Medjool dates pressed tightly on a parchment-lined sheet, drizzled with warmed peanut butter, and topped with chopped almonds and melted dark chocolate. A sprinkle of flaky sea salt finishes the bark, creating a sweet, creamy, and crunchy treat that sets in the freezer for easy slicing. The contrast between the soft dates, rich peanut butter, and crisp almonds provides a satisfying texture and flavor combination.

Description

The recipe arranges pitted Medjool dates on a lined baking sheet, pressing them together to form a compact layer. Warmed peanut butter is drizzled evenly over the dates, followed by chopped almonds for added crunch. Melted dark chocolate is then poured over the peanut butter and spread out to coat the surface. The bark is sprinkled with flaky sea salt, balancing the sweetness and enhancing depth of flavor. Freezing the bark for about 30 minutes firms the layers, allowing it to be broken into bite-sized pieces.

This no-bake date bark offers a naturally sweet, nutritious snack or dessert with layers of creamy peanut butter and rich chocolate. The flaky salt adds a subtle contrast that brightens the flavors. It can be stored in the refrigerator for optimal freshness, making it a convenient homemade treat.
