Dessert Kabobs Recipe
Description
The preparation involves cutting brownies and Rice Krispies treats into bite-sized pieces and washing and hulling strawberries. Ingredients are threaded alternately on skewers, with strawberries positioned at each end to help secure the pieces. Once assembled, the kebabs are placed on parchment paper, and melted chocolate coating is drizzled over the top and allowed to set, providing a smooth chocolate finish and additional sweetness.
The kabobs offer a variety of textures from the chewy brownies, crispy rice treats, soft marshmallows and cream puffs, and fresh strawberry juiciness. This mix makes the dessert both flexible and fun to eat. The presentation benefits from the colorful layers and neatly arranged components.
Using store-bought treats simplifies preparation, but homemade versions can also be used. The skewers make it easy to serve multiple people without utensils, suitable for gatherings or informal occasions.
Ingredients
- 3 Rice Krispies Treats homemade or store bought
- 6 brownie bites homemade or store bought
- 12 strawberries
- 6 large marshmallows

- Cut up your brownies or Rice Krispies treats to the size you'd like them to be. We used store bought Rice Krispies Treats and cut them in thirds.
- Wash Strawberries and cut off tops.
- Layer treats on skewers. We added strawberries first and last to help keep the treats on the stick.
- Place skewers on parchment paper.
- Melt candy coating by stirring constantly in a small pot. When all melted, pour in a Ziploc bag with the tip cut off. Drizzle over Kabobs and let set.
- ENJOY!
