Double Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie
Description
This recipe yields a Double Chocolate Chip Skillet Cookie using butter, brown sugar, egg, vanilla, flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and plenty of dark chocolate chips. The ingredients are combined to form a dough spread evenly in a 10-inch skillet or pan. Baking at 350°F develops slightly firm edges while keeping the center soft and chewy, characteristic of skillet cookies.
The cookie delivers rich chocolate flavors from both the cocoa powder and abundant dark chocolate chips. Allowing it to cool briefly before slicing helps the cookie set, making it easy to portion. This recipe was adapted from Martha Stewart.
