Dr Pepper Jello Salad

Dr Pepper Jello Salad blends strawberry gelatin and Dr Pepper soda for a fizzy, fruity base mixed with maraschino cherries, crushed pineapple, and chopped pecans. Chilled until set, this dessert salad delivers a colorful, textured treat with sweet and tangy flavors complemented by a nutty crunch.

Description

This Dr Pepper Jello Salad begins by dissolving strawberry-flavored gelatin in boiling water, then blending in Dr Pepper soda, which adds a unique cola flavor and fizz. The mixture is cooled and then combined with maraschino cherries (including their juices), crushed pineapple with juice, and chopped pecans for texture and added sweetness.

The blend is poured into a greased bundt or desired mold and refrigerated for several hours until fully set. The final dish has a vibrant appearance, balancing sweet, tangy, and nutty elements with a lightly spongy gelatin texture.

Before unmolding, gently loosening the edges with fingers helps maintain the shape. This salad suits festive occasions and potlucks, offering a nostalgic, visually appealing dessert that can be sliced and served cold.
