  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ onion finely chopped
  • 50 ml white wine 1.7 oz
  • 1/2 tsp saffron threads or 1 sachet of saffron powder
  • 10 gms dried porcini mushrooms 1/3 oz
  • ½ cup water hot
  • ¼ cup milk hot
  • 1 beef stock 33.8 oz
  • 4 tbsp parmigiano reggiano finely grated
  • 30 gms butter 2 tbsp
  • salt to taste
