Easy 5 Minute Healthy Frozen Yogurt

Report
This frozen yogurt combines frozen bananas, Greek yogurt, frozen berries, and maple syrup blended into a smooth, creamy treat. It offers a soft-serve texture suited to quick preparation with basic blending. Variations allow changing fruit or adding flavorings, making it a flexible dessert or snack option that can also be frozen into popsicles.

Description

The recipe involves freezing sliced bananas for at least 4 hours before blending them with Greek yogurt, frozen berries, and maple syrup. Blending yields a smooth, creamy frozen yogurt reminiscent of soft-serve ice cream without added cream or heavy sugar. The natural sweetness comes mostly from banana and maple syrup.

This mixture forms a refreshing cold dessert that is quick to make and customizable. Using different fruits changes the flavor profile, such as tropical fruits or mint with chocolate chips for alternative tastes. Pouring into molds and freezing creates healthier popsicles.

You can store leftovers in the freezer, allowing the frozen yogurt to soften slightly before scooping. Adjusting sweetness lets you tailor this treat to your preference, maintaining control over sugar content.
