Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients for crust in a bowl and mix until all parts are moistened. Try pressing a bit to the bottom of the bowl, it should stick and pack firmly, if not add a bit more milk. Transfer to a 8 or 9-inch round spring-form and spread evenly. Press crumbs tighly against the pan using the bottom flat of a meauring cup or glass to create a crust.
  2. Spread Dulce de Leche on top of the crust. Place in fridge for now.
  3. In a deep chilled bowl, whip the whipping cream until firm peaks form. You can put it in a piping bag and use a big star tip, pipe the cream on top of the banana slices to make nice patterns. Alternatively, you may just spread the cream on top using spoon or spatula.
  4. Bring the crust out of the fridge, add a layer or two of banana slices on top of the dulce de leche. Then spread the whipped cream on top of the banana layer.
  5. Sprinkle with cocoa powder before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • This recipe is good for a 17cm or 7 inch spring-form round pan or 3 small pies using a dessert ring.
