Easy Carne Asada Recipe

This recipe for Easy Carne Asada features marinated flank steak grilled to medium-rare with savory fajita vegetables. The marinade combines citrus juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, and spices, which tenderizes the steak and infuses it with vibrant flavor. Grilling the steak and vegetables together imparts a smoky char while preserving juiciness. After resting, the steak is sliced thin against the grain to maximize tenderness. This method works well for casual meals or gatherings, served alongside fajita-style veggies.

Description

Easy Carne Asada Recipe showcases a flank steak marinated in a mixture of orange or lime juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, cilantro, and spices such as cumin and cayenne pepper. The acid and seasoning help tenderize the meat and build complex flavor. The steak is grilled over medium-high heat with sweet mini peppers, jalapenos, and onion rounds until medium rare, typically 10-12 minutes, flipping every few minutes for even cooking. Resting the meat tented with foil prevents juice loss and ensures a juicy final product. Thin slicing against the grain maximizes tenderness, making it ideal for fajitas or plating with grilled vegetables. The combination of smoky grill marks, tender beef, and spicy-sweet peppers gives this dish a balanced flavor and appealing texture.

The fajita vegetables complement the carne asada with their bright, fresh flavors and slight crispness after grilling. This dish is suited for casual meals where the savory, citrusy marinade and mix of textures can be enjoyed simply on its own or with tortillas, salsa, and sides.
