The marinade softly tenderizes the beef while imparting a balance of citrus brightness and savory depth. Description

Easy Carne Asada Recipe features flank steak marinated in a blend of fresh citrus juices and herbs combined with soy sauce. The marinade includes the juice and the skins of orange and lime, green onions, and freshly chopped cilantro, which infuse the beef with layered flavors and help tenderize it over at least four hours. After marinating, the beef is grilled until golden brown on both sides and reaches an internal temperature of 145 °F, ensuring a medium degree of doneness with a juicy and tender texture.

The flavor profile combines the savory umami notes of soy sauce with the fresh herbal and bright citrus elements, making it a balanced and satisfying grilled meat. This carne asada is commonly served immediately off the grill, wrapped in tortillas accompanied by avocado, tomatoes, salsa, or other vegetables for a classic assembly that highlights the steak’s flavor.
