Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie

This Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie combines brown sugar, eggs, corn syrup, pecans, and chocolate chips in a rich custard filling baked inside an unbaked pie crust. The filling sets to a soft yet firm texture with chunks of chocolate and pecan for contrast. It’s a dessert where comforting sweetness meets nutty crunch, suitable for traditional holiday or special occasion tables.

Description

The Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie features a pie crust filled with a mixture of brown sugar, eggs, flour, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, pecans, and semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips. The brown sugar and corn syrup create a caramel-like sweetness and sticky texture, while the eggs provide structure. The flour stabilizes the filling. Folding in pecans and chocolate chips distributes nutty crunch and bursts of chocolate flavor throughout the pie.

Baking at 350°F for 50 to 60 minutes allows the filling to set; the ideal doneness is confirmed when a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cooling the pie fully before serving helps the filling achieve its intended firmness. The final texture is a combination of a tender, custard-like center dotted with pecan pieces and melted chocolate pockets.

This pie can be served as dessert for holiday dinners or anytime a rich, nutty chocolate treat is desired. Its classic components offer familiar flavors with an added chocolate twist, appealing to lovers of pecan pie and chocolate alike.
