Easy Coconut Macaroons

Easy Coconut Macaroons are chewy, sweet treats made from a mixture of coconut flakes, flour, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla. Baked until golden on the edges, they're optionally dipped or drizzled with melted semi-sweet chocolate for added richness. The texture is moist and chewy with a crisp, toasted exterior, offering a classic coconut flavor enhanced by creamy chocolate contrast.

Description

This recipe combines coconut flakes with flour and a pinch of salt, then binds the mixture with sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Small rounded spoonfuls are baked on parchment-lined sheets at 350°F until edges turn golden, typically 12-15 minutes. Once cooled, the macaroons can be dipped or drizzled with melted semi-sweet chocolate mixed with a little coconut oil, which sets with refrigeration.

The result is a moist and chewy cookie with a toasted coconut aroma and a hint of vanilla. The optional chocolate coating adds a smooth, slightly rich layer that complements the coconut's natural sweetness. These macaroons can be enjoyed as a simple dessert or snack and are easy to prepare with minimal ingredients.
