Easy Condensed Milk Brownies (3 Ingredients)

These Easy Condensed Milk Brownies use just three ingredients: dark chocolate, sweetened condensed milk, and plain flour. By melting chocolate with condensed milk and folding in flour, this recipe creates brownies with a dense, fudgy texture topped with a slightly crusty surface. The simplicity of ingredients makes it accessible while delivering a rich chocolate treat.

Description

The Easy Condensed Milk Brownies combine melting dark chocolate with sweetened condensed milk on low heat, then quickly stirring in plain flour before baking. The low baking temperature encourages the formation of a set yet moist brownie with a shiny, crusty top. Using dark chocolate with around 50-60% cocoa solids balances bitterness and sweetness for a classic chocolate flavor.

After baking and cooling, these brownies are firm enough to cut into squares while maintaining a moist, fudgy interior. They do not require eggs or butter as the condensed milk provides sweetness and moisture.

Storing brownies in an airtight container in the refrigerator keeps them fresh up to one week. The recipe’s simplicity and minimal ingredients make it convenient for those who want a quick homemade chocolate dessert with few pantry items.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 250 g dark chocolate (8.8oz) see notes
  • 397 g sweetened condensed milk (14oz)
  • 100 g plain flour (3.5oz)

Instructions

  1. Line an 8x8-inch tin with baking paper and preheat your oven to 160℃ (140℃ for fan ovens).
  2. Break up the chocolate and add it to a saucepan with the condensed milk. Place over low heat on the stove, stirring occasionally until the chocolate has melted.
  3. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the flour. It's important to work quickly because the mixture will start thickening quite fast.
  4. Transfer the brownie mixture to your lined tin and bake for 20-25 minutes. You'll know the brownies are ready when a crust has formed on top. See images in the post if you're unsure.
  5. Let the brownies cool in the tin for around an hour at room temperature. Then just cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Use dark chocolate with 50-60% cocoa for balanced flavor and texture.
  • Store baked brownies in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.
