Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 Cool Whip 8 oz tub, thawed
  • 1 ½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate optional, for drizzling, melted
  • 2 cups powdered sugar sifted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate candy coating or melted chocolate for dipping
  • Sprinkles optional, for topping, or crushed nuts

Instructions

Step No.1: Prepare the Candy Mixture

  1. In a large bowl, mix Cool Whip, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and fluffy.

Step No.2: Shape the Candy

  1. Spoon small dollops of the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Freeze for 30-45 minutes until firm.

Step No.3: Melt the Chocolate

  1. Melt chocolate candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

Step No.4: Dip the Candy

  1. Using a fork, dip each frozen candy piece into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off. Place them back on the parchment paper.

Step No.5: Add Toppings and Chill

  1. Drizzle with white chocolate and sprinkle with nuts or sprinkles if desired. Refrigerate for 15 minutes until set.

Step No.6: Serve

  1. Enjoy these delicious, creamy Cool Whip candies straight from the fridge!

Notes

  • Storage: Keep in the fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer shelf life.
  • Chocolate Choice: Use dark, milk, or white chocolate based on preference.
  • Consistency Tip: If the mixture is too soft to scoop, add more powdered sugar or freeze before shaping.
  • Peanut Butter Cool Whip Candy: Add ½ cup peanut butter to the mixture.
  • Mint Chocolate Version: Mix in ½ teaspoon peppermint extract for a refreshing twist.
  • Nutty Crunch: Roll the candies in crushed almonds, pecans, or coconut flakes before dipping in chocolate.
  • Cookies & Cream: Fold in crushed Oreos for a cookie-inspired treat.
