Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F. and spray a 12 count muffin tin with non stick spray.
  2. If using Pillsbury cookie dough like me, slice the roll into 12 equal slices and place each piece into each hole of the muffin tin.
  3. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly browned.
  4. Remove from oven and let the cookies cool for 5 minutes in the tin.
  5. Then gently use a spice jar or a shot glass to press the cookies down the middle to make the basket shape.
  6. Remove them from the muffin tin and place on a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. In a medium sized bowl, add the softened butter and beat with an electric mixer for about 2-3 minutes until it's fluffy
  8. Carefully add in the powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract.
  9. Next, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until the color is completely incorporated
  10. Place the icing in a plastic piping bag or ziplock bag and cut the corner off
  11. Pipe the icing into the cooled sugar cookie cups.
  12. Top with easter egg candies

Notes

  • Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • Use any favorite Easter candy for the toppings. You can even add a licorice rope or nerds rope for a handle if you'd like.
