Easy Griddle Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pound salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • lemon
  • herbs for serving, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat griddle to 375°F or set to moderate heat. Lightly brush with oil.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper on all sides.
  3. Place the seasoned salmon skin-side down on the griddle. Cook for 3-5 minutes.
  4. Gently turn the salmon over with a spatula and cook the other side for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Squeeze some lemon juice on top and sprinkle with fresh herbs. Season with more salt and pepper if needed.
